Julie graduated from Harper Adams University College as a mature student in 2004. Then worked as a Freshwater Ecologist with the Environment Agency for 20 years.
Since 2017, Julie has led the Swifts project, in the Church Stretton area and recently became the Swift Species Champion for the Shropshire Ornithological Society.
Julie’s 45-minute talk highlights the pressures facing swifts, swallows and house martins and explains why they are in decline and her efforts to support & improve their habitats.
