This friendly and informative session is designed for both new and experienced pet owners who want to give their puppy or kitten the best possible start. Learn the essentials of early care — from the importance of nutrition, training, and socialisation to preventive health and building positive habits that last a lifetime. Join us for expert tips, practical advice, and plenty of time for questions to help you feel confident and prepared for your pet’s important first year.
This course will be delivered face-to-face in our Veterinary Education Centre. We will cover a range of topics relevant to your pet’s health in their first year including:
- Preventative health care – from vaccinations to parasite control
- Exploring the importance of appropriate and balanced nutrition
- The value of socialisation, training and puppy parties
- Working with your vet and other professionals for happy and healthy pets
